By scheduling an appointment or using grooming services provided by GroomWorks, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms are in place to ensure the safety, health, and well-being of all pets, clients, and staff.
I understand that dog grooming involves certain inherent risks, including but not limited to stress, injury, illness, or pre-existing medical conditions that may be aggravated during the grooming process.
By using GroomWorks services, I agree to release, waive, and hold harmless GroomWorks and its owner, Carrie Rinehart, from any and all liability, claims, damages, or expenses arising from injury, illness, loss, or death of my dog while in GroomWorks’ care, except in cases of proven gross negligence.
I acknowledge that GroomWorks will take reasonable precautions for my dog’s safety but cannot be held responsible for incidents that occur due to my dog’s behavior, health conditions, age, or temperament.
All dogs must be in good general health and free from contagious illnesses at the time of their appointment.
Proof of current vaccinations may be required prior to grooming. At a minimum, dogs must be up to date on:
Rabies vaccination
Any other vaccinations required by local or state regulations
Clients are responsible for informing GroomWorks of any medical conditions, allergies, injuries, sensitivities, or behavioral concerns prior to grooming. GroomWorks reserves the right to refuse service if a dog shows signs of illness or poses a safety risk.
Owners must disclose any history of aggression, biting, or anxiety before the appointment. GroomWorks reserves the right to stop or refuse service if a dog becomes aggressive or unsafe to handle.
Additional handling fees may apply for dogs requiring extra time or care due to behavior or condition.
Owners of senior dogs or dogs with medical conditions acknowledge that grooming may be physically demanding. GroomWorks is not responsible for complications related to age-related conditions, seizures, heart issues, or other pre-existing medical concerns.
In the event of an emergency, GroomWorks will attempt to contact the owner immediately. If the owner cannot be reached, GroomWorks may seek veterinary care at the owner’s expense if deemed necessary for the dog’s health and safety.
Severely matted coats can cause skin irritation, hidden injuries, or discomfort during grooming. GroomWorks is not responsible for any irritation, redness, or pre-existing skin issues uncovered after mat removal.
In some cases, shaving may be required for the dog’s safety and comfort. The owner authorizes GroomWorks to make grooming decisions in the best interest of the dog.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed upon. GroomWorks reserves the right to charge fees for missed appointments, late arrivals, or cancellations without adequate notice.
By booking an appointment with GroomWorks, I confirm that I have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions. I certify that I am the legal owner or authorized agent of the dog and that all information provided is accurate.
